All dates weather permitting. Advance notice will be given for any schedule change.
⏰ PLEASE be on time for Registration! We are expecting a large turnout this year. We're doing our best not to limit space in the league, but we have to be punctual to stay on schedule. Start times are expected to stay the same throughout the league but are subject to change if necessary.
150 targets per shooter over the weekend.
Only your best four scores count toward the league standings — so everyone stays competitive throughout the season, even with a missed week or a rough day.
Random Greenie targets mixed throughout both rounds. Hit them and you could take home great prizes. Participation is optional — they just add an extra layer of excitement every week.
No matter your experience level, you'll compete against shooters with similar abilities. Designed to be fun, competitive, and welcoming — from first-time league shooters to seasoned competitors.
Given all the excited feedback from shooters who are newer to the sport, we are proud to introduce a brand new Rookie Class to our Fall League this year!
The Rookie Class gives first-time and newer trap shooters a place to compete against others at the same point in their shooting journey — with their own standings and their own recognition — so nobody feels like they're going head-to-head with veteran competitors in week one.
Not sure whether the Rookie Class is the right fit for you? Ask any league official at check-in on September 12.
Guests who are not shotgun qualified must be supervised by a shotgun-qualified CRPC member during their first round each time they attend league. The supervising member (who may not be shooting simultaneously) must remain positioned behind the guest and be able to intervene if necessary. After the first round, if the guest demonstrates safe gun handling, direct supervision is no longer required while shooting from non-adjacent stations. (Adapted from CRPC Rule 3-10.2.)

Every competition day begins with a mandatory safety briefing. Safety is everyone's responsibility. On league day, every shooter is an RSO. Help us maintain the safe, welcoming environment that makes CRPC such a great place to shoot.
Awards and prizes are presented throughout the league, including:

Big thanks to everyone who came out and to the mentors who made the day what it was. We'll be back with more events like this soon — stay tuned.
The Club
Founded to promote safe, competitive, and recreational shooting sports, the Charlotte Rifle & Pistol Club (CRPC) has been a home for shooters across the Carolinas for decades. The club maintains a full complement of trap fields, rifle and pistol ranges, and hosts leagues, clinics, and open shooting throughout the year.
The Trap Team is one of several competitive teams operating under the CRPC banner. Members shoot in the club's own spring & summer league and represent the club in regional matches.
The trap fields are open to CRPC members who are shotgun qualified only — not to the general public. See the CRPC main website for membership and qualification info.
The Team
Spring and Fall leagues shot at the club's home fields. The 2026 Fall league runs six Saturdays September through November — best 4 of 6 counts toward season standings.
Shooters are placed into divisions based on average, with a Rookie Class for newer shooters. Season-end awards recognize the overall Champion, best 16yd, best 20yd, and division top three.
Newcomers shoot alongside veterans — the division system keeps the competition fair. Coaching is available; you don't need your own gun to start.
Roster
Team captains and coaches, plus the shooters representing CRPC this season.
Countless volunteers help us make the league a success each year. We are very grateful for their contributions on and off the field.
The full 2026 roster and live standings are published on the Trap League Manager site.
